About Me

Between staff and freelance work in both the B-to-B and consumer fields, I have some thirty years' combined experience in print and online research and commentary, spanning fantasy genre entertainment, literary critique, social trends and different facets of domestic/foreign policy.
For me, the uniform excitement in each of these pursuits comes from delving into a new subject or field and communicating its conventions or priorities to an outside audience.
In traditional media, I wrote for the newsletters "Ancillary Profits" and the "New England Journal Of Skepticism" and also served as Associate Editor with Folio: The Magazine for Magazine Management. On the consumer-side, I held the same title with NOVA The Magazine for Science Fiction & Fantasy and contributed interviews, reviews and retrospectives to Starlog, Sci-Fi Universe and Epi-Log Journal.
Currently, I blog at sci-fisemiotica.blogspot.com and at fullfrontalcontext.blogspot.com. I have also contributed to nationofchange.org, idavox.com and poemalley.blogspot.com, among other sites.
